Maybe I missed the part in the movie where someone references how many times we’ve repeated this story in human history, but I found it odd no one did (I figure a scientist would mention something to demonstrate how smart they are – like on Doctor Who). I also couldn’t shake the feeling I’ve seen this before (at least it’s not just me). If the trilogy is about the same characters, I’m guessing it won’t end the way the story always ends here on Earth.

The CGI very nice, though the 3D kept pushing me out of the movie. Maybe I should have seen it in IMAX.

After some thought, I decided to get a new MacBook Pro. For now, I’ll settle for the pre-installed Ruby, Python, PHP and Java and just install Erlang (try Reia?), Scala, JRuby and Groovy.

MacPorts keeps shitting the bed. Something had to go wrong. What fun would there be if it were easy?

I’ve been trying 5 sentences. So far, so good, considering I haven’t needed to write much email these days.
