I played around with Things, OmniFocus, The Hit List, and a couple other GTD task management apps. They all have features I like and didn’t like. Like Mac vs Windows vs Linux, Star Trek vs Star Wars, Transformers vs GoBots, my sense is they all kind of suck, so which sucks less?
Maybe that’s a little harsh. They all have their good points.
I was also reminded the hard way that I can not (and should not) act. At least it’s comedy.
And it was fun.
Something to try to keep in mind these days and something I found amusing.
The Martian Chronicles came up when chatting with a buddy. It reminded me how much it influenced my early (unpublished) comics. Time to re-read? Vague memories of the mini-series are that it sucked. Hm…
Last week was a short work week. Holiday on Monday. Out of work on Thursday.
Someone mentioned the correlation between those let go and those who wore sport coats to work over the past year. Most wore casual attire. Perhaps I should have been more superstitious.
It’s been over 9 1/2 years. I’ll miss the people there. Of course, everyone who leaves there says that.
